· His House Children's Home is a private, non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to restoring the joy in the lives of children from newborn to 18 years of age and children who have transitioned out of the foster care system and families. HHCH provides services ranging from residential care, foster and adoption placement, case-management, an in-house counseling center, the His House Academy, a tutoring program, in addition to weekly enrichment activities such as art, music, athletics and aviation. We have been providing services for the youth of Educate Tomorrow for quite some time, and we have recently partnered to further strengthen the relationship between our two organizations in order to offer the best possible services to their foster youth. We will be providing music instruction and academic tutoring, primarily in an individual setting focusing on the upper grade levels and standardized testing. Visit their website here. (http://www.educatetomorrow.org/about-us/aboutus/)
· Educate Tomorrow supports 15-23 year olds, who are aging out of the foster care system, by matching them with mentors. These mentors in turn help the young people to enroll in college and training programs, find housing and jobs, as well as apply for educational and social assistance that may be available to them. They also provide educational and life skills camps called "It's Your Life", which is funded by The Children's Trust.
We are excited to announce our new partnership with Casa Valentina! We will be providing academic enrichment through individualized tutoring for the young women of Casa Valentina. Visit their website here(http://www.casavalentina.org/home.html) to learn about the amazing services they provide.
· Casa Valentina is a non-profit organization that addresses the unique, gender-specific needs of young women transitioning from foster care to independent living. The organization was established in 2004 by a group of concerned women who acknowledged the immense challenges faced by young women who leave – or "age out" of – foster care at age 18 without the life experience, financial stability and support they need to survive on their own.
